Find answers to the most common questions we receive from businesses considering IT support, hosting, or Microsoft 365 with Sentinel Infrastructure.
We provide remote IT support and managed services UK-wide. On-site visits are available for clients who need them, scheduled as part of your service plan.
All of our services are priced on a per-user or fixed monthly basis. We’ll provide a clear, itemised quote after an initial consultation, with no hidden charges or surprise bills.
Yes. Many of our clients use us for IT support, hosting, domains, maintenance, and Microsoft 365 together. We offer bundled pricing for clients who take multiple services.
The first step is a free, no-obligation consultation. We’ll review your current IT setup, understand your business needs, and recommend the right combination of services. Get in touch via our contact page to book.
Our standard agreements are 12-month rolling contracts. This gives us the context and continuity to provide a genuinely proactive service rather than a reactive one.
Critical issues during business hours are responded to within 15 minutes. Standard support requests are typically resolved same day. See our IT support page for full details.
Yes. On-site support is available as part of our managed IT packages. Remote-first resolution means most issues are handled quickly, with on-site visits for anything that can’t be done remotely.
Yes. All hosted websites benefit from daily automated backups retained for 30 days. We can restore your site to any point within that window. Learn more about our website hosting.
We primarily support WordPress, which accounts for the majority of small business websites in the UK. We can also support other platforms, so speak to us about your specific setup.
Yes. We handle website migrations from other hosts as part of the onboarding process. No downtime, no data loss. We manage the full transfer.
No. We manage Microsoft 365 migrations carefully to ensure zero data loss. Your emails, contacts, and calendar data are migrated fully before your domain is switched over.
Yes. Ongoing Microsoft 365 management, including user additions, security configuration, and licence optimisation, is included in our managed IT support packages.
Yes. We can take over management of your DNS records without necessarily transferring the domain itself. Many clients have us manage their DNS while the domain stays at their existing registrar, then transfer it over when it’s up for renewal.
We monitor all expiry dates and renew domains before they lapse. If you manage the domain yourself and it lapses, your website and email will go offline immediately. When Sentinel manages your domain, that risk is eliminated.
